2004 Cinque Terre DOC passito "Sciacchetra`", Liguria, Italy

Fairly oxidative nose with noticeable nutty notes, apple and caramel. Nutty and moderately sweet in the mouth, apples and walnutes with a light metallic touch, dried stone fruit, slightly bitter on the palate, has some substance, but not particularly deep, roasted notes on an attractive finish.
