2003 Barbera d'Alba DOC Vin del Ross, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Mature, slightly ethereal nose, partly preserved red berries and some cherries, herbaceous notes and some undergrowth, earthy and mineral notes, some old oak. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, full-bodied and creamy, fairly warm style, also has cool mineral and herbaceous elements, persistent, light earthy notes, fine tannins, has some depth, very harmonious, very good finish.
