Tart, earthy, slightly cedar, nutty and tobacco nose, reminiscent of dried root vegetables, with restrained berry tones and clearly dried mushrooms. Also quite tart in the mouth, cedar, nutty and earthy, relatively cool fruit, bacon nuances, fine sandy, rather crumbly tannin, certain persistence, slight bitterness, tobacco notes, firm structure, gains substance and depth with air, very good, tart, slightly drying finish with ripe juice and some wood spice.

Editor note: Translate to English Herber Duft nach schwarzen und etwas roten Beeren mit Aromen getrockneter Blüten, Tabak, etwas Zedernholz und Lakritz sowie leicht erdigen, pfeffrigen und grün-pflanzlichen Noten. Geradlinige, herb-würzige Frucht im Mund, zart schokoladige und tabakige Noten, feinsandiges, noch leicht trocknendes Tannin, gewisse Kraft und Nachhaltigkeit, ein wenig Süßholz und Kräuter am Gaumen, eine Spur aschige und auch erdige Töne, etwas Wärme, zart gewürzige Nuancen, sehr guter Abgang. Deutlich besser als die leicht oxidative erste Probe.

Editor note: Translate to English Säuerlicher, etwas grüner und pilziger, deutlich oxidativer Duft nach roten und schwarzen Beeren mit pflanzlichen, altfassigen und erdigen Tönen. Herb und säuerlich im Mund, geradlinige Frucht, wieder oxidative Noten, präsentes, staubig-sandiges Tannin, erdige und nussige Töne, ein wenig spröde am Gaumen, merklicher Alkohol, aber eingeschränkte Substanz, gewisse Nachhaltigkeit, ordentlicher bis guter, leicht nachtrocknender Abgang.
