2009 Barolo DOCG Riserva Ravera, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: On withered foliage and dried flowers reminiscent of red berries with dry herbaceous notes and earthy and slightly cedar nuances. Ripe, quite juicy and firmly kneaded, rather tart fruit, nutty, dried floral and spicy notes, some cocoa, a hint of bacon, very good persistence, has bite, firm, fine-sandy tannins, in the background salt and herbs, with air even deeper and more complex, very good, juicy and tart spicy finish.
