2014 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Terre Nere, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly woody, vegetal, earthy and slightly greasy scent of mixed berries with mushroom notes and laurel reminiscent of morels. Rather red, very slightly jammy fruit on the palate, some candy and delicate spicy notes, some more oak, mature tannins, some bite, good persistence, nutty and mushroomy traces, hint of soot, very good, juicy, again slightly jammy finish.
