1992 Dolcetto d'Acqui DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Mature, tranquil, harmonious nose, mixed berries and a hint of cherries, vegetal and delicate earthy notes, some dried flowers, hint of tobacco and sugar candy. Clear, mature fruit on the palate, dried herbs, tobacco and earthy notes, light acid bite, persistent and has some depth, medium body, hint of sugar candy, wilted leaves, fairly prominent, slightly astringent tannins, clearly shows its origin, fairly prominent mineral notes, has some depth, very good finish. In surprisingly good shape.
