2007 Paestum IGT Cupersito Aglianico, Campania, Italy

Ripe, partly preserved mixed berries and cherries on the nose, delicate floral and buttery notes, light spicy oak. Straightforward style, quite polished, red and black fruit on the palate, oaky notes and some tobacco, fairly prominent, quite fine tannins, racy rather than astringent, good persistence, has some depth, very good finish.
