2013 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly nutty and spicy oak on the nose, ripe mixed berries, some plums and dried herbs with tobacco and very slightly peppery notes. Firm, quite juicy, rather dark fruit with some sweetish spicy oak, some tobacco and some dried herbs, persistent on the palate, some depth, firm, fine tannins and some acid bite, still undeveloped, in the background mineral, becomes even finer with elegant, very good, rather cool, firm, juicy and spicy finish with paprika notes.
