2007 Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Granato, Trentino, Italy

Fairly cool, tart nose, partly preserved black berries, some cherries and a hint of red berries, herbaceous notes, cereals, earthy and mineral notes. Clear, concentrated, juicy fruit on the palate, sugar candy and some dark chocolate, fairly fine but also fairly prominent tannins, persistent, creamy and quite full-bodied, but not heavy, vergetal as well as some more earthy and mineral notes in the background, has some depth, juicy on a fairly complex, very good finish.
