2008 Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Granato, Trentino, Italy

Cool, tart nose, earthy and mineral notes, some old oak, partly preserved black and some red berries, delicate floral traces, hint of medicinal herbs. Cool, firm and polished on the palate, tart fruit, dried vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes, fine, still fairly youthful tannins, touch of old oak and some dark chocolate, very good persistence and has some depth, firm, but also quite elegant, very harmonious, tart and cool, but also elegant and juicy on a fairly complex finish.
