2006 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Franci, Tuscany, Italy

Harmonious nose with some spicy oak, earthy and mineral notes, black and some red berries, hint of dried prunes and cherries, dried herbs, cedary wood and a hint of licorice. Concentrated, full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe, creamy fruit, spicy oak, chocolate and caramel, elegant acid bite, very prominent, youthful tannins evenly distributed, touch of sugar candy, persistent, complex and racy, very good long finish.
