2006 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Tassi, Tuscany, Italy

Clear nose, preserved red and black berries, partly dried cherries, light herbs and spices, light smoky notes, mineral traces. Clean, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, full-bodied and creamy, also has an elegant acid bite, soup greens in the background, slightly smoky spicy oak, more mineral notes, fine, youthful tannins, persistent and has some depth, very harmonious, touch of sugar candy and some dark caramel, very good finish.
