2014 Barbera d'Asti DOCG San Bernardino, Piedmont, Italy

Light earthy and dried vegetal notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, mixed berries and a few cherries, pepperyspice, some dried herbs. Firm, tart fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acidity, fine sandy tannins, dried vegetal and peppery notes, light mineral notes, hint of citrus fruitm full body, good persistence, hint of tobacco, light lemony traces, hint of bacon and some herbaceous notes 9on a good to very good tart finish.
