2017 Colli Bolognesi DOC Cabernet Sauvignon, Emilia Romagna, Italy

Light toasted notes on the nose, black berries and partly preserved cherries, dried vegetal and herbaceous aromas, hint of licorice. Fairly firm, tart fruit on the palate, toasted oak, earthy and dried vegetal notes, noticeable acid bite, light sandy tannins, full-bodied, noticeable high alcohol, fairly persistent, hint of licorice in the background, touch of cocoa and nutshells, good to very good finish.
