Ripe black berries, preserved cherries and some plums on the nose, light spicy oak. Clear and quite juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, sweetish roasted oak, fine sandy tannins, only slightly astringent, light acid bite, fairly youthful, not particularly deep, good finish.

Best to drink: 2009-2011. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Ripe dark berries, some plums and cherries on the nose, sweetish roasted notes. Ripe, quite juicy fruit on the palate, some more slightly sweetish roasted, spicy oak, creamy, good persistence, very fine but slightly astringent tannins, still largely undeveloped, not particularly deep, good finish.
