2009 Colline Savonesi IGT Granaccia, Liguria, Italy

Spicy nose, partly preserved red and some black berries, candied nuts, some cinnamon and a hint of tobacco, mineral traces. Partly candied and partly preserved fruit on the palate, more candied nutty notes, some oak and chocolate, fairly warm, slightly persistent, mature, very slightly sandy tannins, mineral traces, delicately creamy, refreshing and stimulating, very good finish.
