2006 Dolcetto di Ovada DOC Superiore Nèjr, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Fairly open nose, bruised apples, plums and some berries, vegetal notes and some undergrowth. Slightly oxidative again on the palate, sweetish preserved and marinated berry fruit, full-bodied, benefits from aeration, slightly prominent tannins, still quite astringent, attractive to good finish. Very individualistic style.
