2004 Cesanese di Olevano Romano DOC Cesanese Terre Olibani Sigillum, Latium, Italy

Slightly spicy red berry nose with a hint of orange zest, slightly earthy with some mineral notes. Slightly tart red berries and kumquat on the palate, has backbone and character, noticeable alcohol, not a lot of real substance, but quite well balanced, integrated tannins, slightly astringent on a mildly alcoholic, otherwise good finish.
