2007 Cesanese di Olevano Romano DOC Sigillum, Latium, Italy

Mature nose with light animal and leathery notes, earthy and spicy notes, dried berries. Quite full-bodied and spicy on the palate, slightly sharp alcoholic notes, has some substance, quite a lot of fruit, dried red berries, some roasted nuts, bitter medicinal herbs, pimento, cloves, prominent old oak, integrated tannins, firm and full-bodied, shows its origin, slightly alcoholic on a very good, slightly bitter finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2012+. What our ratings mean
