2007 Benaco Bresciano IGT Nero per Sempre, Lombardy, Italy

Rather tart aroma of black berries and some cherries with slightly bacony-animalic notes, a hint of rubber, liquorice and tobacco. Polished, sweetish, partly preserved fruit, fine tannin, certain persistence, straightforward style, a hint of chocolate, meanwhile quite drinkable despite the high alcohol, good finish. Do not drink too warm.
