2011 Benaco Bresciano IGT Rebo, Lombardy, Italy

Slightly herbaceous, peppery nose reminiscent of caraway with black and red berry aromas, olives, celery, some dried soup herbs and tobacco. Somewhat sweetish, warm, jammy fruit in the mouth, woody and spicy flavours, again also soup herbs, fine sandy, predominantly crumbly tannin, warming alcohol on the palate, certain persistence, rather soft style, not very deep, tobacco traces, also quite jammy on the good finish.
