2005 Curtefranca DOC Vigna Santella Del Gröm, Lombardy, Italy

Editor note: Dried berries on the nose, some dried herbs and a touch of cedar, earthy and light animal notes, some old oak. Sweetish, jammy and preserved berry fruit, some undergrowth and a touch of mushrooms, herbs and some light chocolate notes, elegant acidity provides backbone, as do the medium fine-grained tannins, has some substance, delicately juicy with some berry notes on a good finish.
