2003 Barbaresco DOCG "Ad Altiora", Piedmont, Italy

Preserved red berries and some cocktail cherries on the nose, herbs and spices, light floral notes and some tobacco. Slightly jammy red fruit on the palate, more herbaceous and floral notes, mineral notes too, quite complex, although not exceptionally deep, fairly prominent, slightly dry tannins, good finish.
