2004 Langhe DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Preserved and marinated berries on the nose, delicate spicy oak, some earthy notes and blackberries, harmonious. Fairly firm on the palate with fairly prominent, complex fruit, has some persistence and substance, medium, integrated, fine-grained tannins, cherries and berries, slightly sharp and bitter on an otherwise attractive to good finish.
