2005 Barbaresco DOCG "Ad Altiora", Piedmont, Italy

Tart red and black berries on the nose, floral and vegetal notes. Quite tart on the palate, berry fruit and some light vegetal notes, tobacco, fairly prominent and slightly astringent tannins, quite full-bodied, persistent, noticeable alcohol, floral notes on a good finish.
