2005 Barbera d'Alba DOC "A Bon Rendre", Piedmont, Italy

Slightly diffuse nose, floral and aromatic, candied plums. Uncomplicated style, cleanly made, smooth berry and plum fruit, slightly tart notes, integrated, polished tannins, not a lot of substance, but refreshing, slightly subdued varietal character, attractive finish.
