2006 Friuli Grave DOC Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Castello di Porcia, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Fairly intense nose with mulberries and preserved dark berries, light animal notes, some vegetal notes and old oak. Juicy, crisp berry fruit, slightly artificial, at the same time juicy and quite persistent, shows backbone, hint of acidity, integrated tannins, clear with good structure, not particularly deep, but refreshing, attractive finish.
