2006 Friuli Grave DOC Titianus, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Prominent spicy oak on the nose, roasted notes and dark chocolate, pimento, some leather and dried herbs, slightly spicy berry notes. More prominent, fairly well integrated oak on the palate, more spicy and roasted notes, partly dried plums, preserved and dried berries, prominent earthy notes, some bitter herbs, medium, integrated tannins, quite full-bodied and lively, bitter and slightly astringent on an otherwise very good finish.
