2001 Provincia di Mantova IGT Lambrusco I Clementini, Lombardy, Italy

Tart nose, dark berries, dried vegetal traces, very light hint of oak. Very slightly sweetish on the palate, but also tart and slightly sour, red and black fruit, medium-fine mousse, slightly astringent tanwnins, acceptable to attractive finish.

Editor note: Slightly jammy berries on the nose, lactic notes, herbaceous traces. Quite dry and delicately juicy on the palate, quite crisp preserved red berry fruit, prominent acid bite, quite lively and almost playful, very light earthy and mineral notes in the background, medium mousse, straightforward and refreshing, delicate hint of red berries and apple, attractive finish.
