2007 Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba DOC Vigna Groppone Sori Montefrillo, Piedmont, Italy

Blackberries and blueberries on the nose, very light roasted notes, floral traces. Full-bodied, ripe fruit on the palate, slightly austere spice, slightly astringent tannins, noticeable alcohol, mineral traces, slightly persistent, more noticeable alcohol and slightly astringent notes on an otherwise attractive to good finish.
