2005 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Mixed berries and preserved cherries on the nose, hint of rum punch, light buttery notes, chocolate and roasted oak. Undeveloped on the palate, full-bodied with noticeable alcohol, juicy fruit, oak, fairly prominent astringent tannins, prominent acid bite, still quite closed, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol on a good finish.
