2006 Chianti Classico DOCG Badia a Coltibuono, Tuscany, Italy

Ripe, preserved red berries on the nose, light sweet cherries and some plums, very delicate buttery note. More light buttery notes on the palate, ripe fruit and some spicy oak, fine dusty, slightly astrignent tannins evenly distributed, fairly full-bodied with noticeable alcohol, but also has a delicate acid bite, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
