2006 Chianti Classico DOCG RS, Tuscany, Italy

Preserved light cherries and red berries on the nose, light buttery note, sweetish roasted notes. Slightly tart fruit and austere oak on the palate, fairly prominent astringent tannins, slightly juicy with a prominent acid bite, hint of vanilla, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol, slightly astringent on an attractive finish.
