2012 Aglianico del Vulture DOC Superiore Basilisco, Basilicata, Italy

Translate to English Klarer, leicht tabakiger und getrocknet-kräuteriger Duft nach überwiegend schwarzen Beeren mit pfeffrigen Nuancen, einem Hauch Zitruszesten und herben gewürzigen Nuancen. Fest gewirkte dunkle Frucht mit etwas Biss und präsenten Tanninen, leicht ins Pfeffrige gehende Würze am Gaumen, wieder auch ein wenig Zitruszesten, dazu Tabak und etwas röstige Holztöne, nachhaltig und kräftig, gewisse Tiefe, im Hintergrund Bitterschokolade und Kaffee, salzige Spuren, noch eher jung, ein Hauch Jod und Blut, sehr guter, recht saftiger Abgang.
