Ripe, somewhat melting, tart, nutty fruit, fine acidity and noticeable, ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, some warmth, a little caramel and butter in the background, tobacco notes, clear minerality, partly ethereal herbs, dense, good depth, very good to long, somewhat warm, spicy, also melting finish, again with intense minerality. Rather atypical, perhaps precisely for this reason still an excellent 10, interestingly stronger than the sample from almost 4 years ago.
