2012 Mölsheim Zellerweg am Schwarzen Herrgott Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm, somewhat smoky to slightly tobacco, hints of nutty and herbal aromas of ripe citrus fruit and stone fruit with black berry flavours, fine vegetable and delicate floral tones as well as minerality in the background. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, again with smoky, nutty and tobacco spice, lively, fine acidity and noticeable grip, persistent on the palate, black berry flavours and a hint of dark chocolate, good depth, clear minerality, has power, a certain warmth, some sweetish melting and at the same time tension, very good, firm, juicy and grippy finish with lots of dark spice.
