1998 Barbera d'Asti DOC Superiore Stradivario, Piedmont, Italy

Mature nose, animal notes and roasted oaky notes, notes of dried red berries. Ripe, partly dried fruit and prominent oak in the mouth, astringent tannins, some smoke on the palate, as well as leather and spicy notes, has good substance and some depth, light floral notes, good finish.
