Fairly mature nose, preserved red fruit, undergrowth and dried herbs. Also quite mature on the palate, fairly prominent compact berry fruit, dark cherries and some sour cherries, some more light undergrowth, hints of summer truffles and coffee, completely integrated oak, delicate acid bite, slightly astringent tannins, cool, clearly shows its origins, attractive to good finish.
