The "Willi Weber organic winery" is located in the municipality of Roseldorf (Sitzendorf an der Schmida) in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Weinviertel, It is run by Willi Weber, son Andreas is responsible for the basement. The vineyards are located in the Hiesbeet, Mitterberg and Schlossberg vineyards on the southern slopes of the Schmida Valley. They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling, as well as with the red varieties Zweigelt and Blauer Portugieser. The vineyards have been cultivated in the vineyard and cellar since 2000 according to strict biological guidelines, without chemicals. The operating philosophy is to produce quality wine in harmony with nature without exposing the wine to unnecessary chemical and mechanical stress. Important quality criteria are the physiological ripeness of the grapes and the right time to harvest. In all work steps, the greatest possible protection of grapes, must and wine is ensured. The premium wines include, for example, various Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner) and Welschriesling Selection.
