2016 Blaufränkisch-Zweigelt trocken 13ER, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, fairly polished nose, mixed berries and cherries, delicate herbs and spices. Tart, juicy, firm, fairly cool fruit on the palate, predominantly dark berries and some cherries, light herbaceous notes, light acid bite, youthful, very fine tannins, salty notes, good persistence, some bite on a very good, fresh, cool, juicy finish.
