2001 D.O. Calatayud Garnacha Albada, Aragón, Spain

Matt garnet. Intense, mature nose with muscat pumpkin, dried tomatoes, puréed dark berries, kaki fruit and light mineral notes. Typical of the variety, starts off gently on the palate, then develops overripe red fruit and notes of pumpkin, tannins still slightly prominent, good finish.
