Matt dark claret. Blackcurrants on the nose, some orange zest and very subtle oak, already well integrated. Dark berry preserves in the mouth, cassis, supportive new oak, powerful, appropriate tannins, sweetish chocolate, good finish.

Best to drink: 2005-2007. What our ratings mean
