1998 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva Gonzalo de Berceo, La Rioja, Spain

Slightly muted garnet, slightly lighter on the rim. Cool aromas of sour cherries and some black berries. Elegantly juicy and straightforward in the mouth, ripe, soft tannins, delicate roasted notes on the palate, a touch of dark chocolate, medium body, attractive to good finish.
