1998 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva Viña Pomal, La Rioja, Spain

Ruby to garnet, significantly lighter on the rim. Warm aromas of vanilla, red berry preserves. Clean fruit, fine tannins, very slightly astringent, some acidity, fairly light-bodied, fairly mature, slightly astringent, attractive finish.
