Ripe, preserved mixed berries and sour cherries on the nose, herbaceous and mineral notes, delicate buttery touch. Firm, relatively cool, dark fruit on the palate, integrated oak with a hint of dark chocolate, restrained tart roasted notes, quite fine tannins, full body, persistent, high alcohol, but well integrated, has some depth, whiff of pepper in the background, very good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2012+. What our ratings mean
