Dark chestnut brown, olive on the rim. Fairly shy nose, dried fruit, carob, liquorice, dark caramel and dried herbs. Concentrated and complex on the palate, a whole range of dried fruit notes, plus mocha, cocoa, dark caramel and some exotic spices. Sweet, but hardly oily, some minerals and spice, also some cool minty notes, long, complex finish.
