2014 D.O. Rueda Sauvignon Blanc excellens, Castilla y León, Spain

Green vegetal, slightly asparagus fragrance with pomaceous and melon tones, also white exotic fruits and root vegetables and a hint of pepper. Quite juicy on the palate, nutty and light yeasty notes, spicy vegetal notes, some earthy notes, elderberry notes in the background, good substance and persistence, full-bodied, bone-dry style, very good finish. Win with air.
