Fairly mature nose, prominent vegetal notes, grilled and partly burnt bell peppers, partly preserved mixed berries, spicy notes and a touch of bacon, prominent pulses, hint of medicinal herbs. Fairly cool, slightly jammy berry fruit on the palate, herbs and spices, oak, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, slightly persistent and has good substance, not particularly deep, light spicy notes on a good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2015+. What our ratings mean
