2010 D.O. La Mancha Tempranillo Orce, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain

Mixed berries on the nose, spicy and vegetal notes, hint of bacon, kidney beans and soup greens. Plums and cherries on the palate, spicy oak and tobacco, tart vegetal notes, hint of bay leaves and partly dried herbs, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, dark chocolate and dried cranberries in the background, noticeable acid bite, full-bodied and has substance, some malted notes in the background, tart plum fruit on a good finish.
