Quite a complex nose, preserved and partly dried red berries, cherries and blueberries, spicy oak with some cedary notes and tobacco, mineral and herbaceous notes. Quite austere on the palate, oak with some herbs and spices, fairly prominent slightly sandy and astringent tannins, restrained, delicately juicy fruit, light acid bite, mineral traces, tart herbaceous notes, attractive to good finish.
